REVIT PROGRAM

WHAT IS IT?

Fun fact! Did you know that originally, we were known as Revit (Revitalization) Corp? Intended to be a local non-profit organization, our mission was simple, build or refurbish older computers and give them away to low-income households or individuals. Not only would we be giving people technology they needed for school, work, or recreation, but we would also be limiting the amount of electronic waste piling up in landfills each year. However, we couldn’t secure early donors  and as a result we had to rethink our strategy. Thankfully, Revcorp PC was born from that experience.

GOALS

The goals of the Revit Program are simple, achieve the same objectives we originally set out with RevitCorp, which include:
•Distribute used computers or parts to low-income individuals.
•Implement quality control standards to ensure each of these items runs efficiently and safely.
•Promote the three R’s of sustainability; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
•Ensure proper disposal of unusable computers or parts.

IMPLEMENTATION

In order to achieve these goals, we plan to implement this program in several ways, which include:
•20% of all earned profits go towards this program.
•Buying used computers or parts and giving them away.
•Ensuring the proper disposal of non-functional computers or parts.
•Each of our products and services are designed to help encourage sustainable upgrades/disposal
